       Stopping by woods on a snowy evening      
                               (SUMMARY)

        One touch of the nature makes the whole world kin.               This poem is a masterpiece of Robert Frost, a well known American poet. His poetry focuses on theme of nature. This poem points out the exciting beauty of nature, and at the same time hints at the need carry on with the daily affairs of life. The poem tells us that it is the coldest and darkest night of the year and snow is falling. No one is to be seen around. The poet is standing alone with his his little horse among the woods. He is fully absorbed in the beauty of this snow covered forest at this coldest, darkest and calmest night. It seems that he has lost in the world of fantasy. The horse feels it strange to stand here for there is neither a soul nor a shelter place near. It shakes its bell to ask its master if there is mistake. The sound of the bell brings the master back into the real world and reminds him that he has to complete a number of tasks before going to bed. He can’t afford to stay there for long. He leaves he place and heads to his destination.                                                              We learn a very valuable lesson in this poem that world of fantasy is very inviting but we should maintain a balance between the world of reality and imagination.                                                                             “Never mind your happiness, do your duty”.
