They work while others sleep. They stand when others run away. Their dictionary has no words like rest, sleep and pause. These are the leaders who lift their nation to the height of glory. A nation is really proud of such daring and dashing leaders.” A leader is a dealer in hope”. Pakistani nation is very lucky that it got a great personality as its leader. The great name of the world Quaid- e – Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is our true leader. He was born at Karachi on 25th of December, 1876. His father Mr. Poonja Jinnah was a trader. Our Quaid completed his early education in the country. Then he went abroad for higher studies. He returned home as a competent barrister. When he observed the poor condition of the Muslims of India, he came forward to the driving seat. He united all the Muslims on the platform of ‘The Muslim League’. He faced the British and the Hindus bravely. He worked round the clock to carve out a new Muslim country on the map of the world. “There are no office hours for leaders”. At last his efforts bore fruit. Pakistan came into being on 14th of August, 1947. The continuous hard struggle fell upon his health. He departed to his heavenly home on September 11, 1948.
