A Hockey Match                                                                   Life is more fun if you play games.                                                           Playing games as well as watching them in progress is not only a fun but also a joyful act. All over the world various games are played. They provide both happiness and a number of lessons to lead a successful life. I am fond of playing and watching hockey matches.                                                                                                             Last Sunday a friendly hockey was played between Moon Club and Star Club. It was played in a vast playground at Johar Town. Both the teams were well prepared and were in high spirits. The whistle blew and the match started at 10 am. Forwards of both the sides made heavy attacks on the goals of opponents. At last Star Club players were successful to score the first goal of the match. Moon Club Team was under pressure now. Its efforts could not bear fruit and the first half ended. During the interval coaches of both the teams gave important hints to the teams.

Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm”.                                                Now both the teams entered the ground with a winning spirit. Every team had made up its mind to win the match at any cost.  Positions of the forwards were changed. Strategy was also changed  from defensive to offensive.  Every player was attacking the opponent goal like an eagle. This confused the opponent players. In the meanwhile, left half of the Moon Club took the ball from an opponent and showed it the way into the goal of Star Club. It was a superb move. It raised  spirits of the Moon Club Team. In the next five minutes the Moon Club scored the 2nd goal. Now the Moon Club was very near to win. Its team became much careful to defend its goal. Star Club did its best but in vain. The whistle blew and the Moon Club was the winners.

“The game itself is bigger than winning”.

HEALTH                                                                                         Health is wealth.                                                               Health is a great blessing of God. A healthy man can lead life in a better way. On the other hand a person who is sick finds everything boring. This is a bitter fact that people don’t care for the health. Health guidelines are ignored by all of us. It leads to different diseases. If people adopt healthy life style, number of patients will come to zero. Morning walk is very helpful in this connection. Fresh morning breeze is very healthful. It refreshes mind and body. Late night sleeping brings laziness and idleness. We should sleep in time and get up early.                                                               “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise”.                                                                                                                                    A clean body has a clean mind. So, we should keep our body, our dress and our home clean. We should not throw trash here and there. We should also have clean thoughts.                                   “Cleanliness is half of the faith”.                                  Balanced diet is a sure way to health. Too much fats, spicy foods and fried items disturb our stomach. We should avoid them. We should use plenty of water. Water is a life regulator. Tensions and worries bring life to a failure. We should try to be happy always. We should avoid hurry, curry and worry. We should have healthy eating habits. Over eating must be avoided in any case. We should realize that health is valuable. It is more important than gold and silver. Health, once lost, is very difficult to regain. It is tragic that man is much ignorant to this great gift of life. Teachers, parents, elders and media should create an awareness in the nation about health and its benefits.                                                                                                    “No wealth is equal to health”.

A library is a place where a large number of books are kept for reading.  There are all types of books like science, arts, commerce, fiction, general knowledge, economics, etc. Newspapers and magazines are also present there. Usually, all the schools, colleges and universities have their own libraries. Students go there and read their related topics. There is always a pin-drop silence in a library. Making a noise or smoking is not allowed there.

Nothing is pleasanter than exploring library”.                                               Most importantly, libraries are a great platform for making progress.  Libraries can enhance the education and research.        Stopping by woods on a snowy evening
                               (SUMMARY)

One touch of the nature makes the whole world kin.               This poem is a masterpiece of Robert Frost, a well known American poet. His poetry focuses on theme of nature. This poem points out the exciting beauty of nature, and at the same time hints at the need carry on with the daily affairs of life. The poem tells us that it is the coldest and darkest night of the year and snow is falling. No one is to be seen around. The poet is standing alone with his his little horse among the woods. He is fully absorbed in the beauty of this snow covered forest at this coldest, darkest and calmest night. It seems that he has lost in the world of fantasy. The horse feels it strange to stand here for there is neither a soul nor a shelter place near. It shakes its bell to ask its master if there is mistake. The sound of the bell brings the master back into the real world and reminds him that he has to complete a number of tasks before going to bed. He can’t afford to stay there for long. He leaves he place and heads to his destination.                                                              We learn a very valuable lesson in this poem that world of fantasy is very inviting but we should maintain a balance between the world of reality and imagination.                                                                             “Never mind your happiness, do your duty”.

SOCIAL

                               Life, once chance innings

Man is mortal, everyone knows, but his words & deeds are immortal, this must be kept in mind always. Sagacious people weigh their words before uttering, and check their actions before executing. Because they are well aware of the fact that words once said , and actions once done never return. As much as this life is temporary as much as it is important. It is a single innings match, once out no 2nd entry. So, do as much good to others as you can regardless of the returns & outcomes because virtue is its own reward. In this playground of life people come, people go, neither arrivals affect the business nor departures. To consider one’s own-self the most important is lack of reason, lack of knowledge and lack of wisdom. Help others, feed others, please others and cooperate with others is the meaning of life. Selfishness dies its own death whereas sincerity & selflessness never dies but always remembered, cherished & celebrated. We should play our role in a positive way, avoid foul play & accept our victory or defeat with open heart.

Students Respect

Our First Post

                         Students, respectable creature

Teachers are respectable, everyone knows, but students are respectable, a very few know. That’s why, teachers think it their right to humiliate and insult the students just over trivialities. It seems that they are ever ready to find a chance to grip the students. This is a reality all over the globe , somewhere more, somewhere less. Of course, the ratio of this insulting attitude towards students is more in third world countries. This is a tragedy that the learners are considered guttersnipes. Although the fact is that the learners, the students, the knowledge-seekers are highly respectable people. They have the thirst for knowledge. The have quest for knowledge. They have curiosity for knowledge. They ought to be given honour, respect and appreciation. Their minor mistakes should be ignored and major should be amended in a civilized way. Teachers must keep in mind the Third Law of Newton i.e. To every action there is an equal & opposite reaction’. Whatever, we, the teachers are feeding in them will give the same feedback in the course of time. We must not forward our anxieties and our conflicts to our students through our cross behaviour. Rather we should look upon them with an eye of affection, love, honour and appreciation. We should call them with polite names like, dear, gentle man,  prince, my lion, etc. or according to our culture. Never insult a student. Never rebuke a student before others. If advice is needed, it should be politely & silently. Always remember, love begets 💕.
